How Subscriptions Work for TIN Match?
Our subscription system is designed to be flexible, usage-based, and user-friendly. Here's everything you need to know about how your subscription works in conjunction with your wallet.
How it Works?
Each subscription plan includes a set number of checks per billing cycle. Once you exhaust the included checks, the system automatically triggers overage-based pack recharges.
Example: Plus 100 Plan
Monthly limit: 100 checks
Overage recharge unit: 100 checks per pack
Rate per check: $0.68
Cost per overage pack (100 checks): $68
Subsequent overage packs after 200 checks used: $84 per pack

What Happens When You Run Out of Included Checks?
After using the first 100 checks, a pack of 100 extra checks is auto-recharged.
After using 200 checks total, each new overage pack (of 100 checks) will be charged at a flat $84.
All of this happens within the same billing cycle.
When your billing cycle renews, your check count resets based on your plan.
How Wallet & Payments Work?
We support a wallet system to help streamline payments and give you more control for the overages.
Wallet First, Then Card
Overage pack charges are first deducted from your wallet balance. If your wallet has insufficient funds, the full amount is charged to your saved payment card instead of wallet.
Subscription renewals are always charged directly to your payment card, not from the wallet.
Upcoming Feature: Recharge Cap (Coming Soon)
To avoid unexpected or continuous charges from overages, we will soon implement a cap on the number of overage recharges per cycle.
You’ll receive email notifications of your overage limit.
Once the cap is hit, no further recharges will be allowed in that billing cycle.
You’ll be given the option to upgrade your plan if needed.
We’ll notify you as soon as this feature is live.
FAQs
-
What is a pack recharge?
A pack recharge is an automatic top-up of additional checks when you exceed your monthly limit. The number of checks per pack depends on your plan. -
When do I get charged for overages?
Immediately upon reaching your monthly limit. The system will auto-recharge additional checks in pack sizes tied to your plan. -
Do I have control over how overages are billed?
Yes! Overages are first pulled from your wallet. If the wallet is empty or insufficient, your saved card is charged for the full amount. -
Can I turn off automatic overage charges?
Currently, overage recharges are automatic. But once the cap feature is introduced, there will be a limit how many extra packs are charged per cycle. Note: The overage pack recharge will be initiated only if you send a new request upon limit exhaust. -
How can I top up my wallet?
You can manually add funds to your wallet anytime through your billing settings. Wallet top-ups are also supported via API. -
Will my wallet be used for subscription renewals?
No. Subscription renewals are always charged to your payment card, regardless of your wallet balance.
